In our business, safety is the number one issue. We take health and safety very seriously, giving our clients piece of mind that we'll do a good job as safely as possible.

Prism Professional are committed to health and safety. We are constantly monitoring, reviewing and improving our procedures to reduce any possible hazards that may arise in the work place.

We are well aware of our legal obligations and regard safety as the most important factor within our business. Before any contract or cleaning task commences we provide our clients with a full and comprehensive bespoke method statement and risk assessment as standard.

We employ directly. We do not sub-contract. It is mandatory for all our staff undergo training programs which include NVQ, IPAF and First Aid. They regularly attend safety workshops and seminars.

SAFE Contractor

Prism Professional has achieved SAFE Contractor accreditation. We have been audited and awarded certification regularly since 2007.

SAFE Contractor is a health & safety accreditation scheme for contractors. It simplifies the process of demonstrating to clients that health and safety policies and procedures are in place.

The scheme assesses health & safety arrangements. The scheme is recognised by many organisations who accept your SAFE Contractor certificate as confirmation of competency.

Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way. There is a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried out through the SAFE Contractor scheme.

Many large organisations now use SAFE Contractor as their primary means of selecting contractors.
